In the adventure, we will be exploring some of the most majestic waterfalls in the entire World. Nestled deep in the Pacific Northwest, these temperate rainforests boast some of the most incredible scenery known to man. Moss dripping from trees, giant ferns and incredible fauna are part of what make this trip so special. The diversity of this lush landscape is what make this destination sought after by photographers around the World. This magical place is the home to towering moss covered waterfalls, fields of colorful flowers, lush foliage and sweeping vistas.
Join us on this magical tour of the lesser known waterfalls and fields of wildflowers of Washington and the Columbia River Gorge.

Adventure and variety are in store for this crew! The Olympic coastline has the most awe-inspiring Sea Stacks I’ve ever seen. Rising out of the surf like giant monoliths, there is no questioning why this is one of the most photogenic environments on Earth. When you’re done playing around the Sea Stacks, we’ll travel to the interior to visit one of several rainforests, including the Hoh Rainforest and its famous Hall of Moses where giant trees and abundant wildlife await. We will also photograph the rugged coastline and it’s incredible sea stacks at First, Second and Third Beaches, along with Ruby and Rialto Beaches. Crescent Lake and some gorgeous waterfalls will also be part of this adventure. If you’re looking for an well-rounded trip exploring the Olympic Rainforest, this trip is for you!

Join us for a mesmerizing North Carolina Waterfall Tour that will take your photography skills to new heights and leave you with an unforgettable experience.
Brevard is known throughout the region for its many incredible waterfalls. They call this place Waterfall County for a good reason! :). Ranging from grand, thunderous waterfalls to intimate cascades. It almost seems that the entire area is just pulsing with beautiful mountain streams, and we have selected some of our very favorites for you to explore and photograph.
We have timed this Workshop during the height of the Mountain Laurel and Rose Bay rhododendron blooms. These are the types of foliage found among these many waterfalls and you’re sure to have a treat in store, as many will be framed perfectly with these seasonal blooms.
August 2 - 4, 2024

Join landscape photographer Tommy White as we explore the night sky high up on the Blue Ridge. A trip up to Roan Mountain will be on tap for us as we traverse the Grassy knolls of the Roan Highlands at 6000’. This workshop will dive into the darkest of skies, where peppered lights fill the layers of ridges below and we capture those amazing images of astrophotography in North Carolina.
This astrophotography class and workshop will tackle the unique art of light painting and strobes and when to use them. We will also be diving into Time Lapse Photography and Star Trails, the proper settings, and many advanced options on how to take your night photography to the next level. This NC Astrophotography workshop will highlight advanced astrophotography techniques to elevate those star images with a focus on photographing the milky way.
We’ll also take a look at a Star Tracker and image stacking, and how it can benefit your Star images with virtually no noise. Even when shot above 10,000 ISO!

Revel in the incredible night sky at the beach with award-winning photographer Tommy White. The cooler nights in Spring will reduce haze and humidity and will increase our chances for excellent star viewing. With no moon, we will explore all aspects of Astrophotography and Night Photography while exploring some unique locations. A major component of this workshop will be processing and finalizing our images including noise reduction techniques and how to create printable high-quality star photographs.

Join Jason Frye and I for a captivating Death Valley Photography Workshop, where you'll explore the breathtaking beauty of this unique landscape. Death Valley is simply amazing. It holds the record for being the hottest, driest and lowest place in North America. A few of its main features include the Bad Water Basin with its salt polygons. Cotton Ball Basin and the Salt Creeks are two more favorites that exist in the valley at the Spring side of the old lake bed. Both are incredible at sunset. There are many other goodies hidden within the landscape that we will explore throughout the day.
This desert landscape opportunities here are practically endless. At either end of the Valley are gorgeous sand dunes with wind-blown sand. The walls of the valley are the Panamint Range to the West and the Amargosa Range to the east. The highest peak is Telescope Peak at 11, 043 feet.
Embark on an amazing 5-day exploration of this otherworldly landscape during our Death Valley Photography Workshop. There will be something for everyone here, and we’ve chosen the perfect time of the year for the adventure. The mornings are crisp and cool and the afternoons are very pleasant. We will be camping, whenever possible, there will be a fire and plenty of room for conversation and pleasantries around the campfire.
Throughout the workshop, we will uncover many other hidden gems within the landscape, making it a truly unforgettable experience for photographers of all skill levels.

A 3 day Photography Workshop exploring the Great Smoky Mountains during peak bloom. Spring in the Smokies is a truly magical time with rivers and waterfalls running high from Winter thaw and Spring rains. The forest is just exploding with new fauna and Dogwood blooms are scattered along riversides and mossy covered rocks, like something out of a fairy tale.
We’ll be covering everything from a-z in this Workshop. Not just the hidden places, but we love to explore the endless possibilities that the Smokies has for the landscape photographer. We’ll be hitting mossy rivers, majestic waterfalls, golden meadows and huge sweeping vistas. The air will be filled with smell of new growth and the forest will be coming alive before your very eyes. New ferns, budding wildflowers and roaring rivers will be all around as we explore the reaches of this magical place.
