Join award winning landscape photographer Tommy White as we explore the very best of North Carolina’s High Country in the Winter! This weekend Boone Photography Workshop will take you to our favorites spots for hands on instruction both mountain ridges and icy rivers. The workshop will include processing, image editing and review sessions. It will be cold, so be prepared!
What to expect:
This Boone Photography Workshop will be an adventure on top of Roan Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We will catch the sunrise during the golden hours and learn exciting techniques and compositions to enhance your winter photography. During this adventure, we will also address the challenges faced by photographers shooting in these extreme conditions. Hiking is a big part of this winter adventure! Participants should be able to hike a mile with relative ease.
Important: Hikes can vary in difficulty levels and can reach up to 1 mile or more. No one knows your condition and fitness level better than you. We will be in the mountain where terrain can be rocky and steep. If there any doubts, you may contact us at any time to discuss it in more detail. Your safety is always our highest priority, but accidents do happen. Helping us by being prepared will ensure you have a safe and productive trip. If there is any question, check out our individualized sessions, custom designed specifically for you.
