Last weekend in Charleston was a blast. I love rolling around in the dark, chasing the stars and looking for that perfect composition of the Milky Way. I saw some great images and big smiles come out of that weekend. It’s always great to witness someone having that “ah ha” moment.
I returned back to Boone on Monday to unseasonably warm temps, followed quickly by dropping temperatures. I confess that I kinda enjoyed the warm SC temps. 🙂
Now, what do I hear?… Word of upcoming snow…
Well, the daffodils are up and we’re seeing our first hint of spring in the mountains. This happens every year, as winter here can hit off and on into May.
For us winter shooters, it’s one last hurrah! Yes, it’s go time!
Strap on the winter gear once again and get it done*. The forecast is calling for 1″-3″ in Linville tonight and a little more on Monday.
See you out in the sparkling white landscape. Don’t forget your handwarmers!
